"LOVE IS THE DEVIL" diretto dal geniale inglese John Maybury dedicato a FRANCIS BACON, riesce sicuramente a ricostruire con "spessore" atmosfere e atteggiamenti spesso esasperati... esagerati, magnifici, sofferti, terribili!

...I went to see "POLLOCK" at the cinema...
it's a new movie on his life...
I did not particularly like it'but it is really beautiful and exciting to see his works anyway...
And at least it was in original language...I assume it is a disaster in Italian.
It totally revolves around his sufferings as an artist, drowned in the alcohol that was the agent of his very death...
It is quite slow...and too polite, "classic"... not suitable to face such an ìenormityî as Pollock was.
"love is the devil", directed by the genial Englishman John Marbury is dedicated to Francis Bacon and manages well to reconstruct with a certain depth atmospheres and attitudes often exaggerated, exasperated, magnificent, suffered, terrible...
